Tow Truck Driver Killed in East Side Shooting
BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - A tow truck driver driver was shot while operating his truck near the corner of Sweet and Walden Avenues on the city's east side Saturday afternoon.

Eyewitness News crews are still on scene and will bring you the latest as the story develops.
A tow-truck operator believed to be in his 20s was killed this afternoon, apparently after he was shot and then crashed his vehicle into a house on the city's East Side, Buffalo police said.
Ferry-Fillmore District officers responding to a call of a tow truck crashing into a house at Walden Avenue and Latour Street found the driver dead at the scene at about 1:40 p.m.
Homicide detectives believe the victim was shot before he crashed into the house.
The tow truck smashed into the house at 75 Walden and may have struck two vehicles and a fire hydrant before that, police believe. The porch of the house at 75 Walden was damaged. There were apparently no other injuries.
An autopsy will be performed by the Erie County medical examiner.
